The Isidore and Anne Falk Information Center
for Judaica and Jewish Ethnography

Utilizing the latest computer technology to bring Jewish traditions to life, the new information center offers a state-of-the-art multimedia program for visitors of all ages. The Isidore and Anne Falk Information Center for Judaica and Jewish Ethnography enables the general public, students and researchers to access the Museum's collection of Jewish ceremonial objects via a multi-level multimedia program.

Database
In the future, a comprehensive database will allow search access to many more items in the Museum's collections, including photographs and archival information about pre-war Jewish life in Europe and ethnographic research on both little-known and major communities around the world.

Resource Room
Publications - including catalogs from The Israel Museum exhibitions, and periodicals - are available in the Information Center's Resource Room. It is possible, by appointment, to make use of this material and to view original objects from the collections in the Resource Room.

The Photographic Archive
The photographic archive in the Falk Information Center comprises thousands of photographs documenting the daily life of Jewish communities, synagogues, cemeteries, and ceremonial objects. In the future it will be possible to view these photographs on the Center's computer screens.

The Information Center is currently closed to the public due to the comprehensive program of renewal at the Israel Museum.
